4 Days Fes To Marrakech Desert Tour

Day 1: Fes – Azrou – Merzouga Camel excursion night in Sahara Desert

Our wonderful trip towards the desert is going to start at 8:00 am from your accommodation in Fes. From here we will depart for our wonderful destination Merzouga’s desert, passing by some of Morocco’s unique places such as the Switzerland of Africa the city of Ifrane ; visiting the largest cedar’s forests in Azrou where you will have the opportunity to see berberic Apes ; a long entertaining drive across the middle Atlas Mountains with some breath-taking views as far as the eye can see. Half way, we are going to stop by the great city of Midelt to enjoy a traditional lunch before continuing to Merzouga. On the way we are going to do what we like to call it a worth stop to enjoy a panoramic view of a carpet of palm’s oasis. Eventually, when arriving at Merzouga you will get a break with a relaxing mint tea to restore, then camels will carry you out into the golden sand dunes of Erg Echebbi, till the highest dunes in North Africa to enjoy a spectacular sunset. Afterwards you will enjoy a traditional berberic dinner in the camp while berberic music is played. Overnight in a nomadic camel hair tent.

Day 2: Merzouga Sahara Erg chebbi Night in desert camp

After a calm relaxing night, you are going to wake up to a spectacular sunrise in the desert. Enjoy a traditional breakfast, then heading out , to visit some villages inhabited by Senegalese musicians, to enjoy folk dances, and black gnaoui music.following by the spectacular lake of Merzouga with its rich birds species, you may also want to visit the nomad wire house where you can see some Berber handicrafts. Overnight at the nomadic people’s house.

Day 3: Merzourga – Rissani – Gorges of Todra – Valley of the Dades

In the morning, before breakfast, it’s recommended to wake-up early so you cannot miss the spectacular sunrise of Merzouga in the middle of the Sahara. Afterwards we are going to ride camels back to the hotel where you can take a relaxing shower and a breakfast before resuming our wonderful tour. Next we will ride through some tiny berberic villages so we can get reach a cave to discover how local people extract fossils from the bottom of the earth. Next we stop to explore Rissani, and it rich historical monuments such the famous location of trade in the past called sijilmassa ; also Kasbahs, in Rissani there is about 350 kasbah ; the mosulement of Moulay Ali Charif, museum of Ifida and the souq. After a quiet stay we resume towards todgha gorge one of the most spectacular canyons around the world passing by the beautiful ziz Valley, in todgha you will have the opportunity to hike among local people to enjoy todgha’s Beaty. Eventually we will reach Dades gorge, where you will spend the night in a Hotel

Day 4: the Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Skoura – Marrakech

After breakfast in the hotel, we are going to leave the magnificent “Dades gorges”. To visit our new destinations such as the beautiful Skoura and explore the famous kasbah in the area ” the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou “, through the pass of a thousand kasbah and numerous tiny villages , also to visit the valley of roses to enjoy this romantic region , and enjoy a carpet of roses as far as the eye can see and admire. Eventually, we are going to drop you by your accommodation where unfortunately our unforgettable experience is going to End.
