5 Days South Morocco Tour From Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Dades Gorges:

Our departure is going to be from Marrakech at 8:00, crossing High Atlas mountains, by the pass of Tizi-n-Tichka, the highest in Africa with an altitude of 2260m. Next we are going to explore the unique charming oasis of Skoura, containing a numerous ancient Kasbahs stand out between the palms. Afterwards, we are going to visit the romantic city of kalaat M’gouna, and the Valley of roses, a carpet of roses as far as the eye can see. Here you are going to enjoy a traditional lunch in front of nature. Eventually you are going to stop at Dades gorges, one of the most spectacular Canyons in the world. To spend the night in a hotel.

2nd day: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades gorges

After a traditional energetic breakfast, we are going to begin our hike in the surrounding areas of Dades gorges. Mules are going to be used to transport your equipment and to highlight the features of the landscape, with the help of our Guide of course, whom is going to help you experience and know more about the life of local Berber, who lives in the mountains. Overnight with a Berber family.

Day 3: Mountains – Merzouga

In the morning, and after breakfast in a nomadic way. We are going to get back to the hotel. After showering, and restoring, we are going to resume towards our next destination. A unique charming place Merzouga. Stopping along the way by the beautiful gorges of Todra. And by Rissani, where you are going to enjoy lunch among local Berber people. Eventually, after arriving to Merzouga, you are going to spend the night in a traditional camp.

Day 4: Merzouga_Merzouga

In the morning, you are going to ride camels, under the beautiful sunrise of Merzouga, between golden large sand dunes, across the Sahara. Stopping by to have breakfast in the dunes. Afterwards, at noon a camel ride is programed to achieve the highest dune in Erg Echebbi, with an altitude of 250 m. From there you are going to witness the most charming sunset you can ever see. Eventually, a traditional dinner, and overnight in a nomadic camp.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Marrakech

After a traditional breakfast, we are going to head out to explore the famous Kasbah of Ait-Ben-Hadou, a world Heritage site, which was a part of many universal films such as “Gladiator” . Afterwards, you are going to experience the beauty of atlas mountains via the road of Tizi-n-Tichka the highest road in Morocco with an altitude of 2260m, offering you charming views as far as the eye can admire, valleys, oasis, mountains, and Berber villages. Eventually, arriving to the red city “Marrakech” , where unfortunately, our unforgettable journey is going to End.
