8 Days Morocco Desert Tours From Tangier To Merzouga Sahara Desert

Day 1 TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES

Our wonderful tour is going to start from the beautiful city of Tangier, from where we are going to pick you up to dive together in this experience. And our first destination will be a unique place Beautifully perched beneath the raw peaks of the Rif, Chefchaouen is one of the prettiest towns in Morocco, an artsy, blue-washed mountain village that feels like its own world. Where you are going to enjoy a traditional tasty lunch after exploring the city.
After a quiet stay, we will resume our tour towards the scientific city of Morocco the beautiful city of Fes, where we will have a free program for exploring this wonderful city.
Overnight in a Riad with dinner included.

Day 2 FES GUIDED TOUR

After a traditional breakfast in the Riad, we will dive into the alleys of the old medina, and visit the Royal palace gate, the “Mellah”, the first Jewish quarter ever in Morocco, Also the famous al Quaraouine University, the Tanneries and the Attarines Madrasa
After lunch, you will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes
Eventually, we will visit the new city for a coffee. Overnight in the Riad

Day 3 FES  AZROU – MIDELT – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we are going to continue towards our next destination, “Azrou” also , passing through Atlas mountains which contains the largest forests of cedar trees, that is inhabited by monkeys.
After a quiet stay, we will resume towards the tizi ntalghamt pass to Midelt passing by the spectacular Ziz gorges.
Next we will head out to the magnificent Merzouga via, the palm’s city Erfoud, and the spectacular Ziz Valley, to finally arrive at Merzouga where you will be welcomed by camels that will take you in a ride into the golden sand dunes of Erg Echebbi, admiring a romantic sunset in the middle of Sahara. To finally reach out the camp where you are going to spend the night after enjoying a berberic dinner while listening to Berber music.

Day 4 MERZOUGA DESERT – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

Before enjoying breakfast, you will wake up to enjoy one of the most wonderful sunrise that you can ever see in the middle of Sahara, then you will get back to the hotel by camels where you can restore and have a relaxing shower.
After a quiet stay we will resume our tour towards The spectacular Dades Valley via Touroug where you will enjoy a traditional lunch, so we can continue to one of the most spectacular canyons around the world the todgha gorge where you will have the opportunity to take a hike among local people and take some pictures.
Eventually we will drive to the majestic Dades Valley where you will see the famous monkey toes mountains.
Overnight will be either way in Hotel Babylon or in Ecobio Riad.

Day 5 DADES VALLEY – AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH – MARRAKECH

After a traditional breakfast, we are going to head out to explore the Hollywood of Africa Ouarzazat, with its famous universal studios Next we are going to visit a world Heritage site the Kasbah of Ait-Ben-Hadou, a world Heritage site, which was a part of many universal films such as “Gladiator”.
Afterwards, you are going to experience the beauty of Atlas Mountains via the road of Tizi-n-Tichka the highest road in Morocco with an altitude of 2260m, offering you charming views as far as the eye can admire, valleys, oasis, mountains, and Berber villages.
Eventually, arriving to the red city “Marrakech”.
Overnight in a Riad.

Day 6 MARRAKECH – GUIDED TOUR

After breakfast in the Riad, you are going to dive into a historical tour with our guide that he will be sure to show you all the historic sites of the city, such as The saadian tombs, the palace of El bahia, and the famous Ben Youssef Coranic school.
Lunch will be in a restaurant in front of jamaa El fna.
Then resuming our tour to enjoy the view in the Majorelle gardens, and the koutoubia.
Then enjoying the ambiance of the Plaza of jamaa El fna by night, where snake charmers, fortunetellers, musicians, are going to compete for your attention.
Overnight in the Riad.

Day 7  Day trip to Essaouira city

After a traditional breakfast in the Riad, you are going to start exploring the great historical sides of Essaouira, starting by Scala the Kasbah the copy of the French coastal town saint-Malo,build by the French architecture “Théodore Cornut”. Next you are going to walk through the old Medina and enjoy the rich handicraft products that the city provide, Also the Jewish headquarter, and the antique traditional colored houses in the Medina.
Next, you will try a special dish with a fresh fishes.
The afternoon is going to be free for you to take a walk and explore the city by yourself.
Overnight in the Riad.

Day 8 Transfer to Marrakech AEROPORT

Eventually, we are going to make sure to pick you up to the airport of Marrakech according to your flight time, and here where unfortunately our unforgettable journey is going to End.
