Day 1 : Casablanca- Chefchaouen
starts in Casablanca. The latter is known as the largest city in Morocco. Also, it considered the economic and business center of Morocco, it has the largest mosque in Morocco. The Hassan II mosque, which we will visit on this tour. Not to mention, the capital of Morocco Rabat and all the monument that has to offer. Then we drive north to the blue city, Chefchaouen. Dinner and overnight in a riad.
Day 2: free day to explore Chefchaouen
We will dedicate the second days of 7 days in Morocco from Casablanca, exploring the highlights of the blue city while wandering in its attractive alleyways and buildings painted in blue. Dinner and overnight at the same riad.
Day 3 Chefchaouen- Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, we head to Meknes through Ouzzane, on the way will visit the ancient city of Volubilis, the well preserved Roman empire ruins, containing mosaics, the place is a piece of art. Then we drive to Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco, famous for its magnificent Mansour gate or “Bab Mansour” built by the sultan Ismail, and in front of the gate lies El Hdim square. We will visit in Meknes as well the granary and the Sahrij Souani, used for irrigation and plantation. Kara the underground prison and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. then continue to Fes. Dinner and overnight at a fancy riad.
Day 4: exploring Fes
After breakfast, you will be exploring Fes the cultural capital and one of the most important religious centers of the country, and Its university is the oldest in the world. A guided tour will be organized for you to the old Medina, the oldest and most beautiful in Morocco, almost unchanged since the Middle Ages and declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bab Boujloud or the Blue gate of Fez is the entrance to Medina or what it looks like a labyrinth of streets and alleyways, and in the middle lies the Kairouine mosque and university, which you will visit along with: the Madrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain. After that, we will leave the Medina to visit the Jewish quarter “the Mellah”, and the Royal Palace gate. In the afternoon, we drive to a fortress overlooking the Medina to enjoy an amazing panoramic view. Dinner and overnight at the same riad.
Day 5 Fes – Ifrane – Azrou- Midelt- Erfoud-Merzouga
After breakfast, we leave Fez heading south, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoy its breathtaking landscapes. The first stop will be at the Switzerland of Morocco Ifrane. The second one will be at the cedar forest in Azrou where we meet the barbarian apes. .Then we drive along Ziz valley and the palm groves of Tafilalet, passing through few Berber villages, to reach Merzouga Desert. It is where you switch to camels, and cross the dunes to the heart of the desert, on the way a stop will be made to witness the beautiful sunset. At the campsite, you will be enjoying the music of drums, Moroccan dinner, the vast open sky of shiny stars, and sleeping in a nomadic Berber tent.
Day 6: Sahara- desert – Todgha Gorge – Dades Valley.
Wake up early morning to witness the beautiful sunrise, return to Merzouga on camels. Breakfast and showering in the hotel. Then we head to Rissani to visit its traditional Souk that is considered one of the largest in southern Morocco. We head the road to Tinghir, and stop on the way to see the ancient underground system of irrigation used by the locals. We reach Tinghir city and take another road to visit Todra Gorges, and stroll in its magnificent canyon, Have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the valley. Return to Tinghir to join the main road to Boumalne Dades, in which we will visit Dades valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel
Day 7 : Dades Valley – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Marrakech
After Breakfast, departure to Kalaa Magouna famous for its rose valley and rose products, every year a rose festival is held in May, then visit Amridil Kasbah in Skoura. Arriving Ouarzazate and take a look at the Studios. Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a rest point for caravans in the past, and the scene for filming many international movies nowadays. Lunch in a restaurant overlooking the Kasbah. Then we cross the High Atlas Mountains, explore the process of making the Argan oil, and enjoy the sceneries while driving through the Tizi-Ntichka pass. Arrival to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight in a riad. End of the 7 days in Morocco from Casablanca tour.
