9 Days Tour From Marrakech To Casablanca Via Merzouga Desert

Day 1: Marrakech Airport Arrival Morocco

On the first day of our 9 Days tour from Marrakech to the Desert, Fez, and Casablanca, We will either visit the famous Jamaa Elfna Square or just head to your accommodation so you can take some rest.

Day 2: Exploring Marrakech Guided Tour

During this day of the TOUR FROM MARRAKECH, we will explore the Red City. We will have a guided tour that will take us to explore the main landmarks of the city; places that have a huge historical and cultural value. The list includes Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Koranic school of Ben Youssef along with the Medina and the Souks. After lunch in a traditional restaurant at the famous Jamaa Lafna Square, we can go visit the Koutoubia Mosque and the fascinating gardens of Majorelle which have an amazing collection of plants from all over the world. At the end of the day, we will stay at the traditional Riad where we will book.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After breakfast early in the morning, we will depart from the Red City Marrakech traveling through the amazing landscapes of Atlas mountains and many Berber villages where people live a very simplistic lifestyle. We will stop at the UNESCO world heritage site Ait Ben Haddou, which is also a famous filming site where many famous Hollywood movies shot their scenes at. After lunch, we will go to Ouarzazate and visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. Then, we will head to Dades Valley through the road of a thousand Kasbah after visiting Kalaat Mgouna the town of roses. At Dades, we will spend the night at a nice hotel.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast at Dades valley, we will leave it and head to Toudgha Gorges, which has the biggest canyons in Morocco along with a beautiful river that has small fish swimming in it. After that, we will drive past Tinghir to Erfoud where we will enjoy a traditional lunch. Then we will stop at Merzouga and spend the night in one of the fanciest desert hotels.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert Safari

After we eat breakfast and take a shower at the hotel, we will have a ride through the desert to explore its many aspects. We will ride our 4×4 car passing by the small villages. After eating lunch with a Berber family, we will drive through the road of the rally of Dakar uses and stop at a cave where we can find fossils. Then, we will return to the hotel at Merzouga. After taking some rest and leaving our unnecessary luggage at the hotel, we will ride the camels to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where a camp is situated. At the camp, we will have dinner while listening to the trance-inducing drumbeats of the nomad musicians under the clear constellations of the stars of the Milky Way.

Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane

After we have our breakfast, we will leave the desert. We will travel on our TOUR FROM MARRAKECH through the region of Tafilalt and the Atlas Mountains. After a quick lunch stop at the apple town Midelt, we will visit the Monkeys of the cedar forest near Azrou and we will stop again at Ifran. Later in the afternoon, we will arrive at Fez where we will have an overnight stay at a local Riad in the Medina.

Day 7: Exploring Fez With Local Guide.

This day of the TOUR FROM MARRAKECH will be dedicated to exploring the spiritual capital of Morocco Fez. After breakfast, we will start our guided tour in the Medina of Fez, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. We will start by visiting the landmarks of Fez Elbali; places like the Al Qaraouine University, the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the Nejjarine Fountain, and so on. Then, we will have a traditional lunch in the Medina before we explore more of Fez like the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). At the end of the day, we will go back to the Riad.

Day 8: Fes – Volubilis – Meknes – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast, we will go to Meknes, which is a city that has been the great capital of the Moroccan Kingdom since the 17th century. At Meknes, we will explore the main landmarks of the Medina and the area around; places like Bab Mansour and Lahdim Square. We will leave Meknes soon after we explore it, and drive towards the holy city Moulay Driss and the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. After lunch, we will drive to Rabat the capital of Morocco; there we will explore some of its landmarks that date back to the 12th century. We will pay a visit to the Kasbah of Ouday the kasbah, the Medina, the Markets, the Mohamed V mausoleum, and the amazing Hassan Tower. And We will finish the day at Casablanca and stay at a hotel.
